Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Trusttool or TrustVoice ("Service") at https://www.trusttool.net you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Trusttool provides two core offerings: (a) TrustVoice, an AI-powered real-time voice, video, and text translation platform available as a desktop app, web app, and API; and (b) free online calculators, tools, brain training games, and browser utilities. TrustVoice is a paid subscription service with free and paid plans. Free online tools are provided at no cost.
3. User Accounts & Registration
To use TrustVoice or access the customer dashboard, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Accounts found to be using fraudulent information may be terminated.
4. API Keys & Usage
TrustVoice API keys are personal credentials that grant access to translation services. You may generate API keys from your dashboard. API keys must not be shared with unauthorized parties. You are responsible for all usage associated with your API keys. We reserve the right to revoke keys that are compromised or used in violation of these terms.
- API keys are for your account use only and may not be resold or sublicensed
- Translation minutes are consumed per second of audio processed across all your keys and platforms
- Usage is monitored and enforced. Exceeding your plan limits may result in service suspension
- We reserve the right to rate-limit API access to ensure platform stability
5. Subscriptions, Billing, Auto-Renewal & Refunds
TrustVoice offers monthly subscription plans and pay-as-you-go options. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), our merchant of record for subscriptions. Subscriptions auto-renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, and you will retain access until it ends. Unused minutes do not roll over. All paid digital services, subscriptions, API credits, and add-ons are final and non-refundable once purchased and accessed or used. The full terms, including any statutory withdrawal rights, are set out in our Refunds Policy.
- Digital content and services: because the Service is delivered electronically and performance begins as soon as you activate or use it, by starting to use the paid Service (e.g., activating your subscription, using API credits, or running a translation) you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day withdrawal right under EU/UK law. If you have NOT accessed or used the Service within 14 days of purchase, you may request a full refund under applicable consumer law.
- For consumers in jurisdictions with automatic-renewal laws (e.g., U.S. states and Canada): we disclose the renewal terms at sign-up, and you may cancel easily at any time before the next renewal. Cancellation does not trigger a refund for the period already paid.
- Except where required by applicable mandatory law (e.g., the statutory withdrawal right above), purchased software and services are not returnable or refundable. Where law nevertheless requires a refund, it will be made to your original payment method.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
All services, including translation results and calculator outputs, are provided "as is" and "as available" for informational purposes only, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Trusttool and TrustVoice do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of translation results or tool outputs. Translation accuracy depends on audio quality, language pair, and AI model performance. Where consumer protection laws imply non-excludable warranties, these are limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trusttool and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Service or its results. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from translation errors, service interruptions, data loss, or unauthorized access to your account. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that is mandatory under applicable consumer protection law. Where such liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Permitted & Prohibited Use
You may use Trusttool and TrustVoice for lawful purposes only. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal activity or in violation of applicable law
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Scrape or bulk-extract content without prior written permission
- Share API keys or account access with unauthorized third parties
- Use the Service to transmit malware, harmful code, or abusive content
- Access the Service through unauthorized automated means (bots, scrapers)
- Input unlawful, infringing, or third-party personal data without a valid legal basis to do so
9. Intellectual Property
The Trusttool and TrustVoice names, logos, website design, and software code are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of the content you submit. To the extent translation or other outputs generated through the Service are protected by intellectual property rights, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such outputs for your personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. We retain ownership of the underlying technology and models. Third-party AI model outputs are subject to the respective provider's terms.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked, translation minutes will be forfeited, and access to paid features will cease. You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including liability, intellectual property, and governing law) will survive termination.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users and/or by a notice on the Service. Changes take effect at least 30 days after posting (or sooner where required by law or for non-material changes). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may terminate your account before the effective date.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or any jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws provide for the application of a different law or for the jurisdiction of your local courts, those mandatory provisions shall apply and you may bring disputes in the courts of your place of residence. For all other users, the courts located in Delaware (or, for arbitration, the applicable AAA venue) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
For users who are not consumers resident in the EEA or United Kingdom, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring claims in small-claims court for eligible matters. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware, unless otherwise agreed. There is no class action or representative action โ you and Trusttool waive the right to participate in a class-wide claim. IF YOU ARE A CONSUMER RESIDENT IN THE EEA OR UNITED KINGDOM, THIS ARBITRATION CLAUSE DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU RETAIN THE RIGHT TO BRING PROCEEDINGS IN YOUR LOCAL COURTS pursuant to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
15. Force Majeure
Trusttool shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, governmental action, internet or infrastructure failures, or third-party service outages.
16. Entire Agreement & Assignment
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refunds Policy, and any additional terms for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trusttool regarding the Service. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms to an affiliate or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
17. Electronic Communications
By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically (including by email), and you agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
